| The installation of OPS Command Center will allow you
to enable a solution that can be used by other individuals
and IT Groups in the future without additional licensing
and software upgrade requirements. There are no complex
user licensing fees to negotiate and if 20 users are required
then our competitors’ licensing fee for a similar
solution could be over $40,000 for a 5 – 100 user
license.
OPS Command Center is available with each ENS system and
the following modules are inclusive in the one-time, unlimited
device and unlimited user, software licensing:
• Port Commander
- Easy graphical configuration providing both network and
remote port and device management. (similar to DSView)
• Secure Sentinel
- State-of-the-art secure access with multiple layers of
security including 128 bit, IP packet filtering, centralized
database authentication and more
• Life Signs Sentinel - Monitors
the life signs of your network servers and intelligent devices,
sounding an alarm, with paging and email notifications,
at the first sign of trouble
• EAdmin - Enables you to easily send and save configurations
and port histories and provides emergency email notification
with error messages and direct links
Additionally, the OutPost Command Center Software may be
installed on many clients. There is no requirement to install
a semi-dedicated NT server and have single point of failure.
1. Our Access Control List (ACL’s) capability and
SSH encryption feature (new releases available within weeks
of general availability) are the most robust in the industry
today. No other competitor provides a higher degree of security
built into their product than OutPost Sentinel. Security
is a major OutPost Sentinel Development initiative.
2. Propagation of ACL’s may be set to automatic utilizing
the automated response capabilities. This keeps all units
current with all “registered” user profile information.

of this methodology is superior to a RADIUS only solution.

Integration with Legacy KVM Equipment
OutPost Sentinel can enable legacy KVM equipment by installing
our Secure Sentinel KVM over IP device. This allows customers
with legacy analog equipment to allow the equipment to remain
thus preserving the original investment yet enable the devices
for remote access and management. This can be accomplished
cost-effectively by installing the Secure Sentinel and monitoring
these units via the Command Center software. Command Center
may be enabled for monitored Secure Sentinel devices at
no additional software licensing cost.
